The MLS Search uses nightly server-side Cron jobs to download via FTP zip files containing pictures and text related to current
residential listings. The PHP application un-zips the files (using a shell command on the Linux version and the zlib extension on
Windows), parses the text into a MySQL database, and includes the pictures into the database and the filesystem.
The search functionality allows for customized searches based on various MySQL queries. On the example site, there is a customized
search for golf course communities, age restricted communities and horse properties.

Party Express Rental Equipment, Inc. was designed off a single business card with a logo. The site is fully PHP- and CSS-based and includes a contact form. Most photos are randomized.

Business Affairs is the parent bureaucratic organization for several large departments at the University of Arizona, particularly those which deal with building development and construction. Thus, photos of these buildings are on the front page. The site also uses the University of Arizona's template, with a few distinct changes to maintain a separation between the two sites. The site is completely PHP- and CSS-based on PHP auto-include and includes a contact form.
UA Parking & Transportation Services

The University of Arizona's Parking and Transportation Services offers a broad range of services such as permits, campus shuttles, parking enforcement, lot maintenance. In designing the site, it was necessary to, as much as possible, provide a relatively simple method for customers of these various services find the information they were seeking. As a result, the search (powered by the Google SOAP API) is always present at the top, and the front page changes throughout the year to reflect the various customer bases. The site is completely PHP and CSS based, working off a PHP auto-include template. Database applications are Oracle-based and interface with a third-party, Oracle-based application.
Safari Club International Foundation

The SCI Foundation is a non-profit organization part of Safari Club International. The web site was designed with an emphasis on animals and the key pieces of the foundation: conservation, education and humanitarian services. The site features several PHP-based contact pages, as well as an ASP-based search engine backed by an Access database, and an ASP-based News site.
International Wildlife Museum

The International Wildlife Museum is a museum located in Tucson which features animal exhibits. The web site was designed with an emphasis on animals, and to be fun and colorful, as the museum typically caters to tourists and school children. The site is completely CSS- and PHP-based, backed by a Microsoft SQL database. The site was also constructed with a content manager, allowing certain individuals within the site to edit certain content.

TucsonMusicians.com is a free classifieds service for musicians in the Tucson, Arizona metropolitan area. The web site was designed with an emphasis on usability, ad space and musicianship. The site is completely CSS- and PHP-based. Classified ads are emailed to an individual, in a certain format. The individual then approves them and uploads the content of the email into an XML file, which the site will then read as the ads and display the updated date as to when the file was uploaded.
Tucson Association of Museums

Tucson Assocation of Museums (TAM) represent museums in Southeastern Arizona and Northern Sonora, Mexico. The web site was designed with an emphasis on the member museums and around the logo, which was created by a graphic designer before the site was initially conceived. The site is completely CSS/XHTML and PHP-based with a MySQL database backing it with an events database and corresponding calendar application, as well as a member database. Also included was a content manager which allowed member museums to log in and edit their museum data and add events to the calendar. This incorporated various authorization levels which also tied into the member museum database.
Party Creations

Party Creations is a Tucson-based party supplier. The site was designed around a color and font, with a fun, balloon-like emphasis. The site was developed with the idea of the customer being able to edit their own pages. Most of the content includes product photos, and many JavaScript picture enlargement scripts.

The Diagonals is my band. After finally coming up with a name and producing our EP, I had to quickly build us a web site.
It is PHP-based with a single template file, and includes a self-written threaded message board app backed by MySQL, a mailing list subscribe/unsubscribe
function and a password-protected mailing list app.

Shuai Ge is my personal site. It was the first web site I did that I took seriously. This design represents about the fourth incarnation. It's always been modelled
against the backdrop of the strange and forboding Chinese republic, with a collection of pictures I took while living in China in high school.
It is PHP-based with a single template file, a self-written blog app backed by MySQL, a searchable CD database and a dynamic picture app.

Lonely-Crowded West is an anti-travel web site about the American Southwest. The web site was designed with a sparse, mono-chrome Southwestern feel with an emphasis
on providing useful information for travelers. The site is mostly CSS- and JavaScript-based, loading much of its information from the URL.
This web site is currently being re-developed and re-designed. Expected launch date is 7-15-2005.
